Welcome back, everyone! As you can see, Chaos City has had a serious face lift. This is to give the site a fresh feeling as it slowly comes back from the dead. I set this as the default skin so everyone SHOULD be on default. If the site looks screwed up, you're not on the right one. I left the old ones in tact just in case this one hurt anyone's eyes (mine...). But understand that the other skins won't look right at all because the coding wasn't made for them. End of story. Anyway, welcome (back) to CC2.

Sonic the Hedgehog, and all characters and ideas under the title belong to Sega. This particular forum and all of its contents belong to the members of the site, but mainly the admin. The layout was done by Pyran, but most of the graphics and coding used were provided by the members of Deviantart and Proboards Support who make it their business to provide such things, so long as we give a little credit. "Hey, hey! I just--" Kraden's voice trailed off rather suddenly. A rattling sound became louder and more aggressive from beyond Jenny's door. Kraden had gone dead silent.
Then his voice slowly spoke again from next to the other door. "Um, Jenny? The door's locked. From the other side."
That had been the rattling sound--Kraden trying the door.

The bathroom door ripped open and a freshly changed Jenny stood in the doorway, one hand on either side of the frame, "What?!"
She scowled and moved towards the door he was standing near, shouldering him aside and trying it herself. She blinked and looked at the handle, sliding her hand off it, as if she thought maybe he'd hit a button that locked it without him knowing...or something. He hadn't.
The pretty hedgecat took a few steps back and softly sank down onto the bed, the depths of her blue hues quivoring as she stared at the door. "W-What...." She muttered softly, much in contrast to the venom she'd been snarling a moment before, "What is t-this...?"
The ship -- or the room -- gave a violent lurch and Jenny screamed, falling over. So this was the turbulance they'd spoken of? The trembling, tapping lamps and furniture was luckily nailed to the floor so nothing would fall, though, there were a few things that'd been set on top of the shelves that were thrown across the room from the uncontrolable shaking, busting against the floor and the walls.
"Ah! Kraden!" Jenny yelped and shut her eyes, she'd thought she heard Sam's voice swearing from the other side of the hall, but then, Jenny wasn't too certain of anything at this point in time.

Kraden was sent to the floor in the same shake of the ship, grabbing the handle of the door to stop himself from face-planting.
"Jen..."
And suddenly his strong hand was wrapped tight around hers. His blue eyes were fixed on Jenny's face, as though his life depended on it, a determined grim snarl on his face, snarling at the ship in a way, daring it to try something that bad again. A book slid off a shelf far above, coming down and smashing on Kraden's foot. "Ow! Jeeze..."

The ship continued to twist, bounce and accelerate, seemingly out of control. Jenny met his eyes for a moment, then began to sob loudly, something about "I'm too young and beautiful" and "Why won't God take the ferret girl instead?" Because Jenny'd been good for at least half a day. Or...well...since the turbulance started.
She curled up beside the hedgehog next to the bed, snuggling as close to him as she possibly could and crying as if these were her last few moments, her claws subconsciously sinking through his shirt. Any other girl in her situation would be confessing their love for him, how she'd always loved him and bla bla bla. Jenny however...
"This is all your fault!" She sobbed, "I'm going to tie your face to the anchor and push it overboard if I live through this!"

Kraden let out a low, irritated breath. But all things considered this wasn't bad. He had a girl in his arms after all.
"Jenny...if I live through this I'm going to actually invest in one of those pointless golden wedding bands."
Well that was rather sudden. Well Kraden was being shaken like a rag doll right now, he was bound to be not all right in the head entirely. Even as he spoke his cheeks and lips were being pulled in every direction by the rocking ship and he nearly bit his tongue off twice.

Jenny's loud, wide-open sobbing suddenly dropped to dead silence. Big, round pools of blue slowly turned to look up at him, her head moving against his chest. "You're going to what now?!" She asked loudly, yet just barely loud enough to be over the roaring noise around them. "How can he managed to think about THAT at a time like THIS?"
Wedding band? Marriage?! Had Kraden totally lost it?! Her quickening heart rate pumped a whole new kind of fear and adrenaline through her veins. Marraige...it was just one more shifting shadow she was absolutely terrified of. Did she really want to marry this gang leader?! She loved him, sure. But she was just now beginning to actually accept that! In her wild, care-free past, Jenny'd non-seriously dated several guys from all different places, but not one of them had ever made her feel this way. Not one. And what Kraden was doing to her was totally effortless too! What was with that?!
Sure, she'd half-heartedly cared about the others, those other guys. But it was only half-hearted; she wouldn't, and didn't, lose sleep over hurting them. Not one of them had she ever fretted for like she did for stupid Kraden. Not one had she ever trusted like she did the black hedgehog and that was what unnerved her the most. She'd spent all this time traveling from land to land, searching for a place people refereed to as "home." And marriage would mean that she was satisfied that she'd finally FOUND that home. So...after all these years...was Kraden really the one she'd been searching for? Holding out for? Is he the one that the games would end with?
Jenny didn't know. And she didn't know because she was too scared to know. She hated him for who he was and how he got to her, for how he was the only one that could get to her...but she loved him...but she hated him because she loved him. But she loved him more than anyone she'd ever loved before. And she hated the way that she loved him because she hated the way he could break her so easy because she loved him. ((Try working THAT out in your head, phool))
But despite all this mortal combat, one side always managed to flash ahead of the other, even if it was only for a moment. A smirk seized the hedgecat's features despite what was happening around her; It all seemed to be long forgotten. She released her hold around his torso and grabbed the collar of his shirt, shoving him roughly against the side of the bed with her tail lashing. "You just sealed your fate, Hedgehog." She informed him, then pressed her lips against his and kissed him deeply. The ground continued to shift beneath them but she didn't seem to care anymore, and she moved an arm up to wrap it around his neck to keep him from pulling away, the fingers of her other hand brushing through his hair. Ah yes, Kraden had just sold his soul.

((Lol! You're actually getting in a girl's head, man. I have a hard time getting into the guy's head though I'll admit. So...here's a shot.))
Kraden felt a spike of alarm, trying to pull back simply due to the suddenness of it all and a sudden need to breathe--gasp actually. He couldn't pull back--Then his blood turned hot, a euphoria of sheer pleasure clouded his head, his own hands found her, one around her small waist, another at her neck, trailing up to grasp her own hair, breath forgotten, the world spinning as he held her in his arms, not caring that his back and his head was being smashed into something hard or that she was crushing his lungs or that his hair was likely getting torn out. He just pulled her to him just as much. He couldn't think, couldn't breathe, didn't felt like he needed to do either. The place was shaking and with it, Kraden's entire world seemed to be shaking. They were on an enemy base in a locked room, and none of it even crossed his mind. She'd said yes and that was good enough for him.
