-Revamped-
Welcome back, everyone! As you can see, Chaos City has had a serious face lift. This is to give the site a fresh feeling as it slowly comes back from the dead. I set this as the default skin so everyone SHOULD be on default. If the site looks screwed up, you're not on the right one. I left the old ones in tact just in case this one hurt anyone's eyes (mine...). But understand that the other skins won't look right at all because the coding wasn't made for them. End of story. Anyway, welcome (back) to CC2.

Legalities
Sonic the Hedgehog, and all characters and ideas under the title belong to Sega. This particular forum and all of its contents belong to the members of the site, but mainly the admin. The layout was done by Pyran, but most of the graphics and coding used were provided by the members of Deviantart and Proboards Support who make it their business to provide such things, so long as we give a little credit. So, without further ado, I'd like to thank the following: Animus, ross, hpmad, EtonBones, Eichi, california, Wrighty, Spazz24 and Princess-of-Shadows from DeviantArt, and a huge, resounding thanks to Smangii for providing the code to make this forum not look like crap.

The soldiers helped Jedrek sit up, two claw marks scraped bloodily across his chest, but nothing had pierced deep. He winced, staring in confusion at the scene. He made a small sound of disgust, but couldn't be more pleased that he was alive.

The three drakes could think of nothing but getting as far away as possible, really, the two struggling to pull their commander to his feet. The massive dragon's ears twitched and the body suddenly curved around, snake-like. A roar and fire ripped from its throat. After that, the drakes were pretty comfortable with sitting still on the ground.

Then the beast was sitting down next to (and almost on) Azel, whining again pitifully.

He nudged her again, sniffling slightly. Even edged closer to slightly make up for her moving back. His tail was wrapped around himself and his limbs kept close, combined with the shivering he almost looked cold.

But the commander could take no more. "Of course it hurts...what the hell is wrong with you?" He fixed his eyes on her, not really afraid. "You think its as simple as getting a tooth pulled? Your skeleton ripping out of proportions and your insides scrambling? What's wrong with you?!"

"I'll turn you back..." She snapped her fingers and there was a bright flash, a release of energy. It was enough to change November back, hopefully changing back wouldn't take as long as the transformation took.

"I didn't change him on purpose... You wouldn't know anything about rune energy..."

And then there was another scream. A screech. The dragon's back arched inward, jaws parted for the sky as its body collapsed in on itself in short, jerking flashes of movement. It didn't take long, though. Until a familiar blue-gray figure collapsed on the floor. He still shook, mismatched eyes wider than should be possible. Even when the light faded he could focus on nothing. Just stared open-mouthed, trembling. Wondering what the hell had happened... What...what had he done? He felt like his insides had been removed and replaced, every muscle drained. And he smelled blood.

Light green eyes stared out into the streets, the gray she-cat standing under a burned-out street lamp. Well beyond it's time, no one ever bothered to replace the bulb.

Relka was being hunted by the military now... So she had to be extremely careful, even when she gave Hikari to someone who could fix her. But she needed to find something else before they found her... She needed to figure out who turned her into a monster... Who messed with her daughter...

Carefully walking past the houses in the dark, and turning onto the walkway of one of them. Ross' father lived her, she remembered that... One of the things she could remember anyway, she had to get information out of him quickly... He was friends with her father right? During the war? Then he would know where the experiment facility is...

She felt like she was being watched as she stopped in front of the door... Relka had heard that someone in GUN had gotten a special soldier sent after her, a teleporter... So she had to finish this fast... Knock, knock, knock.

Her knuckles struck the door, lightly, but loud enough to attract any attention inside.

There were four cars out front, though the place was famous for belonging to exactly one drunk old man. Lights flickered in the windows from a television droning on. It was a long moment before footsteps sounded inside, the handle turning and the door sliding open.

A grizzled old tom stood in the doorway. Bulging arms, thick neck, graying hair. One fang stuck out of his upper lip in a sort of sneer as he looked the woman over. One hand twitched spasmodically over the bottle it held.

It was too late for it to be a saleswoman... "Yer one o' Candy's friends?" the tom asked.

She didn't remember what Ross' father looked like, was this guy him? No it didn't seem like it, her memory was fuzzy in some places, so it was hard to remember. It also felt weird to use her real name for some reason... Like she'd grown attached to the one she'd been given in the facility.

She didn't really want to attract attention to herself but it had already been done, she just followed carefully.

Thankfully she'd had her clothes cleaned and she wasn't wearing the same ones from before, so she wouldn't look like she'd just come back from a bloodbath.
