Welcome back, everyone! As you can see, Chaos City has had a serious face lift. This is to give the site a fresh feeling as it slowly comes back from the dead. I set this as the default skin so everyone SHOULD be on default. If the site looks screwed up, you're not on the right one. I left the old ones in tact just in case this one hurt anyone's eyes (mine...). But understand that the other skins won't look right at all because the coding wasn't made for them. End of story. Anyway, welcome (back) to CC2.
Now get posting.

Fast Paced Trouble « Thread Started on Oct 5, 2007, 5:30pm »
The roaring of a train echoed throughout the underground subway. The train rolled upon its tracks quickly, but at a comfortable pace. It was just getting towards lunch time, and Typhus looked down at his stomach. It churned in pain, growling and barking at Typhus, a sign to get food. Typhus gave a sigh not sure what to do. There was still a bit of train travel left, and Typhus, well he wasn't risking chaos control.
What was worse, was the fact that the golden hedge wolf, felt out of place. His red eyes scanned his surroundings. He was alone in the very back of the cart, wearing a unzipped hoody, white tanktop and a pair of jeans. Though, that wasn't what made him out of place. The fact that his greatsword was sitting next to him as his only companion was the odd part. Sighing, he picked the sword up with ease, slung it across his back and walked into the cart behind the one he was in, and sat alone....

As the train rumbled, footsteps began to come close to him. A girl named Aqua stepped into the same surroundings of the train as Typhus, as a lame attempt to get away from an annoying kid that was crying up ahead in the train. Not looking or agkgnowlaging Typhus, she sat down across from him, setting her bag down she was holding and pulled out a book, scanning through it as soon as she picked it up.
She felt out of place, too, not that she knew Typhus felt that way. Truthfully, she had no idea where she was going. She was just trying to get out of the town she lived in before, to start life over somewhere else. While she read, she also thought. What should my next job be? A waitress? Maybe I can get a bowling job... No more movie theatres for me... Hmmm...

Typhus slowly looked up from his feet, his red eyes half opened but still showing some sort of rage at the squirrel. Yeah, she was beautiful, so what? Typhus couldn't give a crap. He wanted to be alone. Heck needed to be alone. He was a disaster, and doomed to die fighting his father.... Heh, she's pretty cute my son...betray her, like I betrayed your mother...come on, be assertive, ask her on a date have a good time for once. Looking for me must be tiring. I mean, you're never gonna find me son while you're a free thinker just...just give in... Typhus shook his head and scowled to himself, ignoring his father's mocking voice. Growling, he stood up, and suddenly, the train rocked and he lost his balance, falling over onto his back.
The sounds of windows shattering in the cart in front of them could be heard. Screams of the passengers echoed throughout. " Sh*t!" Typhus yelled scrambling back to get to his feet safely, as a lizard jumped through the window across from where Typhus used to be seated. The red eyed lizard immediately pulled a sword out and put it to Aqua's throat, glaring at her in a deep rage.
((don't worry readers of this thread, me and Zelthie have rp'ed for a long time, we message eachother a lot about what is gonna happen ^^))

Aqua glanced up at the sword was, and her book fell softly out of her hands.
She glared at the lizard, raising a brow. "What do you think you're doing?" She spat at him, grabbing the sword and trying to push it off her throat, though her fingers started bleeding in the process. Luckily her leather fingerless gloves helped her for the most part.
Behind her back, she pulled out a dagger, and stuck it forward. She wasn't afraid of death -- she had faced it many times before, anyway.

The sword was pushed aside and she did indeed stab the lizard. It grunted and collapsed back into the seat, holding the dagger that was now jammed into his stomach.
Typhus' ears twitched and he locked his gaze at the front of the cart. He then slowly glanced at the squirrel, quirking a brow. " Nice job." He said emotionless, but it was actually congratulatory in a way. Unfortunately, just as Typhus began to step towards her and examine her hands, the attackers up front had finished what they wanted. They had teleported all of the front passengers to The Puppet Master's lair, and now, their next target was Aqua. A strong fireball slammed through the door to their cart and slammed into Typhus, causing him to slide on his back until he slammed into the door to the third cart.
The wounded lizard and his three companions, all three hedgehogs, did grab a hold of her eventually. After tying her hands behind her back, the wounded lizard began to back out with her. " I'll take her to the portal..." He grunted.
Typhus' world was spinning for a brief moment, due to the force at which he slammed into the door. Scowling, he slowly go to his feet....He'd get past these three goons and save the squirrel. Unfortunately he'd have to use his powers.
((well you said I could do the auto, so there we go))

When Typhus thanked her emotionless though, she had smirked. She was about to make some smart-Alick remark to the observer when Aqua was attacked by the hedgehog-cronies.
Aqua snarled and strangled to get out of hold of the cronies and the lizard. "Lego of me, You sons ova--!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, and was generally making a huge ruckus. She even attempted to bite one of the hedgehogs, and failed miserably. When they had managed to tie her up, she just glared at them, searching with her eyes all over the place for some form of water to be around. That'd show them. Unfortunately, there was none near by.

Typhus was forced to watch the whole thing temporarily. While they were in a group, he couldn't risk hurting the girl. As for his sword, the train was too tight to get a good swing off with a great sword. His right hand imbued with tainted chaos energy, and his red eyes narrowed. He put on a gamely smirk, and as soon as the lizard started dragging the female squirrel, Typhus made his move.
Outstretching his hand, he shot three chaos spears at once, knocking the three who were in his way, onto their backs. "Chaos Jolt." He muttered. There was a quick blurry burst of speed and Typhus reappeared right behind the lizard. It was like a slower and shorter distance version of chaos control. He laid his hands roughly on the lizard and threw him back into the 2nd cart, so that he caused the three hedgehogs to fall over again. Pulling a knife from his pocket, Typhus freed Aqua's hands and stood in front of her, his tail flickering. " Stay back...I got them..."

Aqua almost decided to do as he said, but realized that maybe she shouldn't listen to someone she hardly knew.
"Why should I?" She asked him in a rough voice. "Thanks for helping me, but that doesn't mean I'm obligated to do as you say." She picked up her back pack and quickly scanned through it, and realized she didn't really bring any weapons with her on this trip other than the dagger. So, defeated, she sat down behind him, staring up and shrugged.
"Buuut, I'll listen to what you say for now," She agreed, trying to make it sound like she made this decision on her own instead of only because she didn't have any weapons on.
She scanned the room anyway, trying to find some form of water, any so she can help defeat these idiots.

Typhus' ears perked in slight interest when she first started her refusal. Once she stopped talking and obviously stated she was actually going to stay out of the fight, Typhus gave a light grin. Good, now shut-up...He thought to himself harshly. Now,that his temper was slowly rising, and these guys were already a bit wounded, it'd be a cake walk, even if they were taken over by his father.
The wounded lizard who had just be tossed like a rag doll, wanted revenge badly. Rushing toward Typhus though, would almost cost him his life. Typhus had chaos controlled behind him, grabbed the lizard by the back of the neck, and then slammed its head into the glass window. The lizard grunted weakly, blood leaking from its mouth and glass shards in its head. Before it could react, Typhus then pushed it into the teleportation field behind both he and Aqua, sending the wounded beast back to his father as a warning. These next three though, Typhus wouldn't grant the privilege of life.
The first one that charged paid the price within a second. Typhus caught the punch that was aimed at his face, twisted his arm, and then spun, kicking the hedgehog through the window and into the train tracks, probably killing him. If not the next train that would come would end his life... The remaining two were a bit brighter. They charged at Typhus at the same time, knives drawn. Typhus ran toward them as well. The one hedgehog had thrust his knife like a right hook, and Typhus ducked under it, and rolled between them. Before they could turn around, Typhus grabbed the one by the shoulders, and chaos controlled with him. The hedgehog that had been teleported reappeared, falling from the train ceiling. Only difference was, he fell to the ground limp, and dead. A second later, Typhus came from the portal.
The remaining hedgehog looked at what Typhus had just did, and turned around, attempting to run to the portal...now was Aqua's chance to get revenge and stop him...

((It's not!))
Aqua jumped in from of the portal, holding the dagger that she thought was gone with the lizard, but turned out to be lying on the ground. First, just out of cruelty, she stabbed the hedgehog directly in the crotch. The hedgehog screamed in pain, falling forward, then she stabbed it again in his temple, officially killing him off.
She pulled out her dagger from his head, staring at it with disgust for a moment before setting it inside an area of her bag. She turned to Typhus, glaring at him but not saying anything as she kicked the hedgehog but left it there for Typhus to clean up. She sat down in her seat again, glaring every which way to make sure there would be no sneak attacks, and picked up her book again, wiping her bloody hands on the bench seat next to her before doing so. Her hands were still bleeding from before, though, so in a second she set the book down and stuffed her hands into the pockets of her vest.
Then, extremely quietly, she mumbled to the wolf, ".... Uh thanks, I guess..."

((Oh em Gee...I can't believe you just did that to that hedgehog xD))
Now Typhus had been through hell and back, metaphorically speaking, and what he just saw made his jaw drop. The pain that poor poor hedgehog just went through. Shaking his head, the hedge wolf grunted and acknowledged her, pointing at her. " You a'ight?" He asked softly. D*mnit...the whole train has been emptied out...that means my father just got tons of new recruits...
Re: Fast Paced Trouble « Reply #11 on Oct 7, 2007, 11:21am »
((I can't believe I even thought of that happening, truthfully. Aqua's morbid! =0))
She barely looked at him when she mumbled to what seemed like the floor, "Yeah, I'm alright... How about yourself?" She sneezed for a second, but her voice was generally trying to be kind. He did just help her, after all. And he seemed generally wondrous on if she was alright or not.
She noticed that she could be ruining her vest by her hands, so she took them out of her pockets and reached inside her bag, pulling out some wrap bandages and, with her mouth, stared putting them around her hands. Just because she was doing this, didn't mean she wasn't paying attention to whatever Typhus said, though.
