Manic walked along, looking for something, ANYTHING, to do. After giving up his life as a thief he just didn't have as much excitement in a day as he used to. He still tried to snatch a few things unnoticed now and then for the fun of it, but it was against his better judgement.
It didn't matter now anyway. There weren't as many people around today as there normally were so without the distraction of the crowds he was too likely to get caught. Ferrel had raised him to be smarter than that.
He stopped and looked around wondering if the days events would pick up at all.

‘Man another town, another club……or something…………………DEAR GOD IS THERE ANYTHING TO DO HERE!!!! ‘ This was about the slowest town he’d seen in a wile. ‘I don’t see any clubs or conenose or action...like not even a theme park’ Panic look around in a circle. “Hey that guy looks friendly!” Panic yelled seeing Manic. He ran over to Manic “Hey man what’s happenin?” He asked poping up in front of him.

Manic leaped ten feet into the air(metaphorically) in surprise. This guy had come out of nowhere! "Uh... Not alot..." he said. "Names' Manic by the way. What's yours, dude?"

‘Holy crap that guy jumped high!! Does he have a pogo stick up his pants or somthin’?’ Panic pointed to himself with his thumb in a proud way. “Da’ names Brass the Echidna, but everyone calls me Panic!” He paused for a secent. “I’m Knuckles’s cousin…if you know him.”

"Nice to meet ya, Panic," Manic said. "And yeah, I kinda know him."

[aids]

“So is there any thing to do in this town!” Panic asked him looking around. “cuz like I can’t find any thing!”

[sarah]

"Usually," Manic said with a slight shrug. "But today's pretty slow. Its Sunday so everything's closed." He looked around trying to fthink of something but to no avail. "Maybe the other side of town has something going on."

“I hope so!” Panic said smilling. “UMPF UMPF UMPF UMPF” Panic pretended to dance. “Hahahaha. Well we better get moving if we’re gona find SOMETHING to do.” Panic twitched his head to the side to say come on. He turned around and began to walk away. ‘wait where the heck IS the other side of town?’ Panic stopped, turned around and faced Manic again. “UHHHHHHHHHHHHHGUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMUUU….” Panic said rubbing his head and waiting for an answer.

Manic laughed a bit and started to walk. "Its this way," he said motioning for Panic to follow. "But lets hurry, dude, if there is something going on there, you never know when the rush is gonna die down."

“Race you!!” Panic said zipping by Manic. ‘Hey wait a minute! Panic, Manic….hahaha we’ve got almost the same names. What’s the odds of that.’ He looked back to see if Manic was gona pass him.

Manic shrugged and started to run. He was a little faster than average but that was from his upbringing as a thief. He needed to be fairly quick back in those days. He was starting to catch up at least.

Panic was laughing so hard he could hardly run. “Ho-hold on man I need a sec.” he sputtered out still laughing. When he stop, after like 30 seconds, he looked up at Manic panting. “Man I haven’t done something like this in like forever! Hahahahaha you know?” He ran his hand through his hair. “So where are we going any ways?”

Manic stopped and shrugged. "Guess we just keep going and look for wherever there's something going on," he said. "Not much else to do right now."

“Well you’re the one who lives here!” Panic said in a joking voice. “Don’t you know If someone is hosting a party, or like if there’s some dumb egg shaped man bent on taking over the world around or something? Come on use your imagination.”

[sarah]

Manic laughed a bit. "Well there is an Egg-shaped man bent on taking over the world but he's been pretty quiet lately," he said. "As for parties, if there are any I wasn't invited. I actually live in the sewer." He wasn't ashamed to admit this. He had been raised by thieves in the sewers all his life.
