"GAAAAAAAAHHHH!"
Well, this was Sonic's town. Anything was possible, and everything that was possible most likely would happen at one point or another. Strange and exciting things happened every day, Westopolis just wouldn't be Westopolis without it.
That's why none of the pedestrians really thought much of it when a man in a ripped up and dirty chicken costume came bolting down the side-walk in absolute terror. His eyes were wide and pupils mear dots as he moved with endless adrinilen-pumped energy down the sidewalk, bowling over anything and everybody in his way as he screamed at the top of his lungs. "LEAVE ME ALONE YOU HEDGEHOG FROM HELL!"
A young hedgehog tore around the corner, slidding a bit on his black shoes as he dashed after the chicken restaraunt mascot. His black fur was broken only by golden yellow streaks over the tops of his quills, and amber eyes to match. And right now, those amber eyes were burning in hatred and his ears were flattened as he continued the persuit. There was only one problem...
"Get..-pant- get back here you dirty... -pant-...piece of dump..." Zappix put a fore-arm on the side of the train station, lowering his head and drawing in loud, deep breaths, his chest heaving. Well, that had been a huge waste of time. He had chased this chicken-man half-way across West Central because of an old grudge. Well, that "smoked poltery" wouldn't be spitting in HIS cola any time soon at least. But it really was a bummer, he could be back with Sonic, teasing him and that girl about her admitted crush on him. Zappix could be having more fun than this, tearing somebody's confidence down.
But hey, no sweat! There were plenty of things to do on his way back. Besides, Sonic wouldn't DARE leave him....right?
Zappix drew in a deep breath then lifted his weight from the wall, whincing as the metal claws retracted back into his knuckles, sending droplets of blood in all directions -- his blood. It didn't really hurt anymore...it was just kinda bad if the wounds ever got infected. But Zappix had adapted, and knew how to take care of himself. Even though he was only 10.
