The night was chilly as the moon rose to it's high throne, casting it's pale light upon the Mountains. Trees creaked in the breezes that constantly danced with them, and grass hissed and swayed when the air stream swept against them, bending them against their will. Standing on a rock jutting out of a cliff with his back to the forest and long grasses stood a dark Grey figure with black baggy pants, black shoes, and hoodie. The figure looked muscular and tall yet he still looked skinny. He had a large bang covering his right eye that had a fire shaped streak on the bang. His quills were tipped with black and his eyes were blood red, that seemed to glow as the moonlight hit them. Xalias didn't seem happy as he stared down at the cities and such from above.
He scuffed as he put his hands in his hoodie pockets and looked toward the starry night sky. Was this place where he would finally settle down? or would it be just another place he would stay at then leave? He didn't know, but something here drew him to this place, He felt as if part of his past were here, though he had never in his life seen this place. Xalias shrugged off the feeling and closed his eyes. The Grey hedgehog tried his best to remember the black hedgehog that saved his life years ago, but it was just a blur. His memory of the hedgehog was withering away like an old wall crumbling with the slightest touch.
Xalias opened his eyes half way as he watched the city lights dazzle bellow the mountain. A soft breeze played with his quills yet he seemed to have not noticed. Xalias was alert yet lost in the whirlpool of his thoughts. Even though he shrugged off the feeling, it came back , leaving the Xalias confused at why he felt this way.
