Skye walked into the Park, in awe of all of the Wild Rides, the spooky haunted houses, and the aroma of amusment park food. "Heh..This could be a fun detour in my travels. He went over to an info booth, and bought a map of the whole park. "Now....whereeee to go..hmm..." Skye went over to a park bench, and sat down to look at the map and think about what hes going to see first. "..Jeez theres a lot of stuff to do here...But which one should I choose?"
Its been an hour, yet Skye still did'nt make a decision. "....meh maybe after lunch I can think of something..." He spotted a hot dog stand not far from where he was, so he decided to get something to eat there. It took a few minutes, because of so many people, but he finally got to the stand. "One hotdog, with mustard and ketchup, please." "Ok......here you go!" Skye paid the price for it and got his hotdog. "Ok, now to eat!" He sat on a nearby bench, and started to eat, while looking at his map.

"I'm telling you, you're lost," Jaq said in exasperation. The black wolf held a cane in one hand and adjusted his dark glasses. He was following a pretty half-red panda half-cat with ease.
"Am not!" Kal shouted indignantly. "How would you know anyway?"
"Just cause I'm blind doesn't make me stupid. I have a general sense of direction, that's how I live alone. Now just ask that guy." Jaq gestured at Skye.
Kal's eyes widened. "How'd you know there--are you sure you're blind?"
"As sure as the sky is red."
"It's blue!"
Jaq shrugged. "Like heck if I know my colors." He leaned against a rail and waited calmly.
Kal sighed and walked over to Skye. " 'Scuse me, do you know where the theater is? I'm supposed to meet my bro there."

"Huh?" Skye looked up, kinda distracted "Oh, the theatre is over there near the Twister" He pointed west, to a building that had the words "Ridley M" near a ride that had a track that twisted up and down, loop de loops, and upside down. It is not for people with weak stomachs thats for sure! but all around, it was a good ride."I was going over there anyways, they have an arcade near the theater anyways..."

"Ah good! Could you show me?" He's cute, was her initial thought. But it was really just a fling, she thought stuff like that all the time. Most likely she'd forget this guy in five minutes. "I mean, this place is a maze you know." She flashed a smile.
Jaq let out an audiable sigh. At this rate he'd be better at finding Cannon on his own.

(Or a UFO ATTACKS THE PLACE....OMG THEY ARE AHHHHHHHHH!! jk  ) "Umm..Ok.." Skye said, a sweatdrop forming in the back of his head ((Anime STYLE WOOOOT!!! XD)), This is going to be wierd.... He put his map away and stood up and replied happily "Follow me." He then started walking towards Ridley M.It was going to be hard with so many families walking to and fro, Friends huddled near boards that had a larger version of the map Skye had, and just running chldren. Sheesh, this place is more like a....oh yea.... |

Kal glanced back and realized Jaq wasn't following. "Um, Jaq--"
"Aunt Georgina? I'M COMING! DON'T DIE ON MEH!" Jaq ran off suddenly, taking off at top speed down a street.
"Freak..." Kal muttered. She only had so much tolerance for the wolf despite his disability. And most of all she knew he'd done that on purpose. "Let's go!" She pumped a fist and started to run after Skye, slowing once she reached his side. "I'm Kaliska."

"I'm Skye" He looked behind where Jaq ran off, and another sweatdrop formed in the back of his head "Is your friend going to be ok?" While they were walking a few grey clouds started to apprear in the sky, some people noticed, and searched their bags to see if they had brought their umbrella, but Skye did'nt notice, but today he brought his umbrella, just in case..

Kal frowned slightly. "Yea, he's fine. Just...attention-deprived I guess." Yes, that definately fit. "He's one of those people who think it's funny to get wierd looks from people, even if he can't see it. Oh, what now?"
A crowd of people suddenly surged down the street, screaming something about a monster. Kal thought she knew what it was, and as she rounded the corner her thoughts were confirmed. As usual, Chasm was scaring the general public.
A giant blue and black gryphon (more of a lupogryph, really) stood over a small crowd that had gotten too close to him. It screetched loudly and people shouted and fled as it lashed out at one of them like a cat chasing mice.
"Wanna meet my pet? Or body guard, rather," Kal asked lightly.

"Cool!" Skye was "This is co cool" excited, other than "OMG RUN!!" scared. I guess since he has been traveling alot, being scared is at the bottom of the emotion barrel, and most people would try to send you to a shrink for something like that.. "Sure I would like to meet the gryphon." More clouds started to form while Skye talked, but rain did'nt drop yet, and thunder was'nt heard, so it was ok for now.
(You should'nt be sorry, I meant I'm not giving much to go on.)

Chasm's head swiveled immediatly towards Skye, his amber eyes ablaze. Apparently the gryphon had heard as well as understood.
In a flash of feathers, no one quite knew what happened exactly, but next second Chasm's massive talon was flying towards Skye's chest. Unless this guy was extremely quick on his feet Chasm would end up smashing him to the ground and pinning him down under his weight. It was...Chasm's traditional greeting.

The claw was oming fast enough to shake Skye up, as the claw was coming closer, Skye was trying to think fast on if he should roll, or jump out of the way." "I don't know what to do....guess I'll just jump!" Skye's reflex probably is'nt going to help, but if he wanted to dodge the wing he better do somethng, and fast! So he bent down, and jumped.

Skye barely flew out of Chasm's grasp, but the massive gryphon stood up on his hind paws and snapped out with his beak at Skye.
"HEY! CHASM! CUT IT OUT!"
The gryphon landed on all fours reluctantly, his eyes flashing at Kal as though blaming her for ruining his fun. He let out a snort and stalked over to stand next to the red panda, growling deeply.

"Um...okay, if you really want to fight with my insane body guard be my guest, but let's not do it in public, kay?" Kal sidestepped around Chasm, ignoring his flashing eyes and the wing that Chasm tried to shelter her with.
"Where's Cannon?" she asked, looking around. Of course Chasm didn't reply and Kal suspected the gryphon had run her brother off the fair grounds. Kal sighed. "Stupid gryphon... Oh well. Hey Skye, wanna show me that arcade?"

"Sure over there." He pointed to a Building next to the Theater that was a feet smaller, and had the words "Game Central" In neon. "Lets go." Skye started walking again, but this time to the arcade.
