Still being 'dragged' by Ash, SparkDust, or Dusty, entered the doors of Sparkle Park. "We're here, heh, you can stop dragging me now.." he said to Ashaes. He shook her hand off his arm stubbornly and said; "Well, you better enjoy this, because, I'm not going to be dragged around like that again!" He dusted himself off. "Which ride do you want to go on first? A scary one? Or a sissy one?" Dusty asked mockingly.

Ashaes whipped around and shot a fake glare at him. "What say you something that makes nine-tenths of the population upchuck violently!" Placing her hands on her hips as she stepped into the glass tube elevator, she turned and smirked, saying, "How much of a wuss do you think I am, Dusty? I'm not sucking my thumb, am I?"
So having said this, she beckoned him forward. "C'mon. Don't want the doors to close on you."

Dusty rushed in, thinking. "Why don't you take a look around and pick the one you want to go on first. I don't know them all that well.." he said chuckling.
When the elevator finally reached its destiny, they stepped out. "Take a look," Dusty said to Ashaes. "Which one looks like it'll make you sick?"

"Hmmm...." Ashaes looked around a bit, gave a slight 'Ahh...!' of wonder, then pointed to a ride called the Gravitron. "Totally that one." She set off with a purpose, easily striding through groups of people that seemed to be heading towards the exit in increasing amounts.
"Hey, Dusty, what's up with everyone leaving? Maintenance or something?"

"I dunno.." He answered, catching up to Ash. He stood on the tip of his toes, searching for something going wrong. "I don't see anything. You?" He tried seeing, but being a Mobian meant being short. "Hey, why don't you get on my shoulders? We'll be able to see better," he offered her. "After all, two Mobians are better than...one?!"

"Uhm, actually, that sounds like a good idea." Ash turned and walked towards Dusty, about to try and climb on his shoulders, when suddenly, she remembered. Sammael was told to write 'the message' here. As if on cue, the scent of smoke wafted towards her, and she said, "No need to see. We do not want to be here...."
If he sees me, he'll call me by name, and then the masses will know I'm in league with Ishamael! Oh, oh, this is totally not going to be good!
However, it was too late to run. The crowds had thinned enough, and Sammael, standing with an M4A1 rifle over his shoulder, looked up as he finished 'writing' This city belongs to Ishamael in the ground with fire. Seeing Ashaes, he started to smirk, but when he realized she was with someone else, his smirk died. Okay, we don't want her known as being in league with Ishamael. She'd our best link to the outside so far. That being said, I've always wanted to shoot at her, just to see how she'd react. The flame-colored fox lowered his gun, pointed it roughly in Ashaes' direction, and fired, making sure he wouldn't hit her or the lug following her around.

Dusty jumped at the sound of the gunfire, and stared at Sammael. "Cool gun.." he muttered. He looked at Ash, who seemed nervous. He didn't say anything, anything at all. In fact, he chewed his lower lip to keep his mouth shut. Although Sammael's gun was wickedly awesome, he would by no means, insult or even speek to someone with a gun. Especially not this guy. Rough figure, rough rifle. SparkDust's lips were sealed.

Ashaes squeaked, then ducked behind Dusty. "Uhm, can we please not be here anymore? I think the masses were right. Running is good." She began to tug on Dusty's coat, trying to take him back towards the exit.
One would think that she'd be nervous. She'd just been shot at by a psycho. That in and of itself was excuse enough to be freaked. "Dusty, that guy is one of Ishamael's people. The guys that messed up the mall!" She gave another urgent tug, thinking, Keep it up, Sammael. There's no way anyone would think we're on the same side.
Sammael did indeed keep it up. This time, he reached into his coat, grabbed a few bullets from an inner pocket, the held out his hand clenched in a fist with them sticking out between his index and middle fingers, middle and ring fingers, and ring and pinky fingers. With just a touch of fire energy, he set off the bullets, launching them towards the two. This volley was aimed so that one of them might hit the guy in the shoulder. He wanted to just kill him, but he'd never hear the end of it from Ashaes.

Dusty ducked, barely in time. The bullet meant to hit his shoulder got his jacket, and touched his fur, shaving a bit of it off. He looked at his shoulder wide-eyed, then back at Sammael. His ears flattened. "You're right. Lets split!" he took off as fast as he could, hoping Ash wouldn't stay there. Of course she wouldn't! What was he thinking; she was the one urging him to leave. His quills waved slightly with the speed he took. When he finally got into the elevator, he stopped to catch his breath.

Ashaes easily paced him, sliding into the elevator, mainly due to poor shoe grip. Placing a hand against the side of the tube, and also catching her breath, she said, "Oh, now you listen. Ugh, men! Does you life have to be on the line for actual common sense to occur to you?" Finally having caught her breath, she muttered, "I hope you don't have a sister, you'll drive her up a wall."
Sammael rounded the corner, smiling. He was enjoying messing with Ashaes. He pointed the gun straight at her abdomen and fired, but Ash had already jumped to the side, and the bullet cascaded through the glass. Cracks began to spread throughout the structure as the doors finally closed and the elevator began to go downwards.
Ha, dumb*ss. He'll have to find his own way to the ground.

"I wish I didn't.." Dusty muttered. His little sister DawnStar, or Star, was really a pest. He'd had it up to his neck with her. So he 'escaped' from home that day. Besides, she had a friend to keep her distracted. Though, being her hero, she was probably going to tell her friend how wonderful he was, and that she really liked him. Although, Dusty wasn't that wonderful; the proof was right here, right now.

At about the halfway mark on their decent, the upper area of the glass shattered, sendingshowers of sharp shards raining down as new cracks spiderwebbed ever faster in a continuously decending break. Ashaes shrieked and acted without thinking; she raised her hand, freezing the water vapor in the air above them to make a shield from the falling glass, while, at the same time, shooting a hand outwards and freezing the tube from the bottom up to keep it together while they went. When they hit bottom, Ash shouted, "Go, I'll be fine!"

Dusty stared in amazement as the glass elevator around him froze bit by bit. He would've helped, but his power would be useless. Then Ash told him to leave. "Are you sure?" He asked. "There's nothing I can do to help?" Despite his questions, Dusty backed out of the elevator anyway, for safety reasons. "Just get out!" He shouted at Ash. "The elevator'll colapse any second, no matter how much you freeze it!" The ice was cracking, and even if Ash put more, that ice would crack too, thus virtually shrinking the elevator. Finally, Dusty hurried in the elevator, grabbed her arm and ran back out, wait for it to fall into litte pieces.

Ashaes was in the process of forming a thick ice bubble out of the overhead shield that would have kept her safe from the glass. As Dust ran in, she cursed and cut the shield, just as a shard dropped by and clipped the back of her hand. She began to bleed, but it wasn't very bad at all. A Band-Aid would fix it.
An idea sparked in her mind, and while it was too late for it to have any effect, she vocalized it. "Hey, you coulda made a tornado, right? Messed with the way the shards fell? That might come in handy later, if, like, you're in a really bad hailstorm or something." There was no sarcasm, no accusatory tone, no "Why didn't you" connotation.
And then, she realized what she had done. She'd used her ice power. "Oh, hacks, I'm sorry. I probably should have told you I'm an elementalist, shouldn't I?"

"Yeah, but I'm not too shocked," he replied. He'd met tons of people with powers quit similar. Most didn't tell him this stuff, but he didn't care, really. "Well, what do we do now?" Dusty asked Ash. Sparkle Park was pretty much 'dead' now, and they should probably find something to do before they die of boredom.
