Sparkle park wasn't that packed tonight, which was odd, considering it was a saturday night. Couples, teens, families, small groups, and even old folk flocked to the "carvival" games and the ride lines -- an over all nice variety.
Jenny didn't have her bandana on. Probably because she quit the gang, but that wasn't really official yet. She figured she could just "ween" herself off them by slowly drifting away, then one day, splitting for home base. Wherever that might be was just as much of a mystery as why she in Sparkle Park by herself. But she was soaking up the attention she was getting from the strangers, boredly chatting with the worker of one of the games that was about her age and watching the crowd.
"Kraaaden! I want a DOLLAR!" Hakkan, a little way away, was following the black hedgehog. It seemed he was back to his old self now, pretty much showing no fear of his gang leader until he actually flashed metal. He practically had the memory of a gold fish, so a good scolding or threat didn't keep him quiet too long. "I'll win you a monkey!"
Sam looked around with a faint grin, glad to get out for once even though they were half-heartedly looking for someone who cheated the gang out of a deal of weapons that was worth more than his life, not keeping up his side of the bargen. He was a low class mongoose who was supposivly setting up shop here somewhere. But Sam was actually looking forward to some of the rides, his mind drifting from the main idea
"Hey Scythe, wanna go ride 'the Exicutioner'?"
"Oh! I do!" Hali volunteered, lingering at the back of the group since everything seemed to distract her.

Kraden's eyes were narrowed and ears flattened in annoyance. He really hadn't wanted the whole gang to tag along. Not that he fancied being a ganster in the sparkley, heartsy, so-cute-it-makes-you-sick pathetic little hole.
"Hakkan. You're a gangster. A theif. A mugger. A pickpocketer. Just go nab a five off some unsuspecting couple and be done with it."
Scythe looked thoughtfully up at the masses of stomach-churning, foot-tingling rides. "Yea! If I get to light a firecracker while we're on it."

"Whoa! I would've never thought of that! You're smart Cap'n!" Hakkan smirked and his eyes sparked in that look that could be assosiated with a future arrest or seriously peaved off civilian before he started off in another direction, dragging with him the gazes of both Sam and Hali.
"I sure hope he doesn't come back with cops..." Sam commented dryly with his usual emotionless look on his face.
"I think you totally should Scythe!" Hali approved with a michevious smirk, "You could like, stuff it down the shirt of the guy in front of you. This place needs a little more spice and dice. Oh Hey Kraden, wanna go on one of those water rides?" She knew the answer before she asked, so she didn't let her hopes get too high. But still, he was unpredictable sometimes, so she asked anyway.
Meanwhile, Hakkan had spotted his victom. Probably the wrong one -- definetly the wrong one -- but since when did Hakkan have a clue what was a good idea or not? He slipped up the small "alley" between the game shacks, his eyes locked on a blonde hedgecat who's flank was to him, and he pulled out his gun and aimed.
"Give me your money chickareeta before I blow your noodle out!" Hakkan barked with a smile, though, it didn't stay there long. And the last thing he saw was a metalic gleam from the hedgecat's hip before he lost another head.
"WHAT THE H*LL!? Are you insane!? I'm calling secu--"
"Hey chill, it grows back. I know this kid unfourtionatly." Jenny smirked faintly when the fox fell on his back and ignored the color draining from the game attendent's gaping face as he stared at her, "It what!?"

Kraden turned and blinked at Hali for a moment. "What, you mean one of those crummy mushy 'river of love' rides? Or the pirate one? Whatever, not like I have anything better to do." That was as close to a yes a Hali would ever get. But Kraden seemed cheered up just slightly. "Whatever you do, Scythe, just don't get caught. And if you do, I don't know you." He started off, expecting Hali to follow.
Scythe snickered and pulled out one of his big ones. "Perfect... let's get in line, Sam." Luckily the lines weren't as long as usual, but Scythe was going to make them suffer for every second of waiting he had to endure.

Hali's face lit, "Pff, of coarse not, Silly. We're going for the pirates!" Silly? What the heck was that? Hali drew in a breath as she watched Sam follow Scythe toward the line to one of the big roller coasters and she turned to trail after Kraden. She was never nervious around him. Never. She always looked at Kraden as the roommate that she liked who was lucky he had the authority she had to respect. But a roommate none the less. He still had his little things that ticked her off beyond reason like the rest of them. Like leaving the dishes in the sink for HER to wash. How difficult was it to just put them in the dish washer that SHE bought with HER money for that reason? And the same thing with the landury. She swore it was sexist. And she told them so too. Of coarse, it was blown off which confirmed her suspicions. But for some reason, she felt strange in this situation. Strange and self-conscious. She hated it. So what if they were off on their own? It's not like she'd just started liking him and she'd never shown it before that she knew of, or that she didn't know him that good. She washed his freaking clothes for gosh sake.
Her face twisted in a tight scowl in spite of herself as she moved up to flank him, but it faded into somewhat relief when she saw that the ride wasn't as far as she thought it was. She smiled and muttered half-heartedly, "Ah, there she blo--"
"Hey furball, I think this belongs to you." Hali frowned and shot a glance past Kraden at the unfamilre blond hedgecat who'd just litterally dropped Hakkan in their path, his eyes a pale lavender color which usually meant he'd just gotten a new head.
"Oh hey you guys. Guess what? I'm still broke." Hakkan paused, "Kraden can I have a buck?"
"The next time he tries to mug me I'm stuffing him full of sugar before I bring him back." Jenny informed, raising her head slightly with a faint smile and waving her tail, never even glancing at Hali who looked creditably bored.
((How come I'm always playing the chicks in the dramas? Jeez, I sure hope this thing with Saylo kicks up soon))

((I dunno, how come I'm always playing the dudes? I'll tell you why. Because I'm good at it!))
"No, Hakkan!" Kraden snapped. He looked back up at Jenny with slight surprise. "Annd what are you doing here? Heh, got a pretty date for yourself here? Where is the bloke and when can I shoot him?" Ah yes, Kraden had an odd way of starting up a conversation...

Jenny eyed him in fake suspicion but smirked none the less, the game lights reflecting in her eyes, "Heheh, why would you want to do that Kraden?" She asked, "Then I'd have to shoot yours."
This brought Hali's attention off the man walking on stilts back to Kraden and this new girl, "Wha?...who?" Her brows furrowed when she asked the last word, figuring out what Jenny had really just said. Who was Kraden's date?....oh wait...
Jenny laughed at her and waved a hand over her own head to mimic how her last little "joke" had "gone over Hali's" and gave the raccoon a rather snobby look, being met by a glare, "I'm kidding. I don't have one tonight." She said to Kraden, "...but we can still trade." She flashed a seducive grin at him and Hali looked at her funny, almost amused. Oh, she had nerve...

Kraden looked taken-back. He stared at Jenny for a moment, his mind scrambling as though he honestly might accept her offer! HA! Ha...yea, okay, maybe he honestly wouldn't mind going with her, but he wasn't one of those guys who went tearing after women. Oh wait...
"Well you can come along with us. We're just going on the pirate ride, whatever," Kraden concluded with a measure of composure. "And I just need something to shoot besides Hakkan--that gets boring after a while, especially when he doesn't die.

"Mhm." Jenny spared a glance at her nails, "Sure, I'm game for that." That was a smooth recovery on his part, she noted. And her frustration didn't show. Did she really care about going with Kraden particularly? No, not nessisarily. But that was the closest thing to a shoot-down she'd gotten in a while, which bugged her. Usually the gang members were slobbering over anything with breasts. Maybe he just wanted to be seen as the guy with two girls tagging along, or maybe he was insecure. Poor fool. But luckily, curiosity was enough to make her willing to trag along with another girl and possibly get wet.
"Yar...if we're gonna go we better go before somebody else gets the same indea." Hali said with an eyeroll. This girl seemed like a snob and snobs usually didn't last long around Hali. And the raccoon was already plotting how she would push her off the boat.
She smiled faintly and narrowed her eyes before spinning on her heal to lead the way toward the small line.
"Wellp! That was really awkward, I'll not be going that way." Hakkan said, "What hobo wants to be seen in public with Kraden?" He shuddered over-exagerationally as he got to his feet, "EEEWW!" He walked past Jenny to leave the group, but not before whispering, "Don't let him wipe a booger on you, he got AIDs."

((Yar, that be my word, missy! *slaps on pirate eye patch*))
"Hakkan, the only reason I'm not sticking a grenade down your throat is because we're in public!" Kraden shouted back. Nevermind that he had just threatened at the top of his lungs in public. Kraden twisted his head a little, straightened, and took a deep breath. "Well...shall we go, ladies?" he asked lightly, offering an arm to each. Ah yes, Kraden was liking this very much. But, knowing Hali and what little he did about Jenny, he didn't expect it to last long. But maybe he'd be lucky enough to see a cat fight.

Hali gave him a scowl and continued toward the ride on her own, practically sticking her nose up at the offer. Oh, so he thought he was going to be big stuff eh? And Jenny was probably going to play perfectly along. What a little... well, Hali at any rate wasn't going to settle for half. And if Kraden couldn't catch onto her aggrivation, then he'd sure as heck catch on when the ride started.
Jenny smiled after her with slightly lidded eyes and half-heartedly locked arms with the black hedgehog, "Well, I wonder what her problem is."
Hakkan however, found his way back to Scythe and Sam and thoughtlessly cut everybody in line behind them, "Yo fella's. I got some good news and some bad news."
Sam's scowl deepened.
"The bad news is, Scythe's boyfriend just left him for two women. The good news is, I'm going to ride with you guys!" Hakkan flashed a bright smile at that last part.

"Ah, that bad mood is her norm, you have to work really hard to get it anywhere else," Kraden said quietly back, flashing a grin. "I'm telling you, she scares even me sometimes. Especially in the morning when she's chasing Scythe, Sam, and Hakkan around with knives."
Scythe merely grinned at Hakkan's approach. Well Hakkan was as annoying as heck, but he surely couldn't do anything but help with Scythe's intentions. "Hey Hakkan, you like a flaming coaster? I'll give you some explosives if you help me out with it."

Jenny seemed hardly impressed, but chuckled anyway, "Mm, not you though huh?" She asked with a grin and looked at him, "Were you in the "safe zone" or something?"
Hali payed for the tickets herself, not caring about the money at this point and handed two of them to the hedgehogs behind her, not saying a word but was still smiling in an almost eerie way.
Hakkan held out his hands, "Juice me up brotha!" He noticed a couple standing behind them giving them weird looks then walked away at this, but his attention was on the attendant unhooking the rope and motioning for them to step forward.

"Well, people tend to steer a little further from you when you're hording the guns," Kraden said cheerfully. He glanced up as Hali passed back the tickets. "Er...yea, she really scares me when she looks like that."
Scythe slipped Hakkan a pair of firecrackers as secretively as he could, using his body to block the pass from watching eyes. "Make me proud, sprite," he hissed with a grin. Standing up again, he looked at Sam. "You?" he asked as he passed through and took his seat.

Jenny took her own seat and Hali, quite contently, sat behind her. And the small raccoon braced her feet on the back of Jenny's seat in a signification that she wasn't going to be easily moved.
"Seat belts, an' all that. This ride'll throw you around so if you just ate please don't ride. Most folks don't like to fish out their lunch the second time around." The operater said in monotone, apparently bored as he waited for everybody to board. That gave Hali another idea, and she rolled her eyes over to Kraden, curious to see who he was going to sit with. She really didn't care either way.
Hakkan took the fire crackers and hopped aboard, while Sam stayed in his place.
"Aren't you coming sir beakface?" Hakkan asked.
"Nah, I'm good."
"Ya scared?"
"You and Scythe on a Rollercoaster with--...yeah...I'll skip this session."
"Bok Bok Baaak! Bok bok!" Hakkan flapped his elbows like wings, hitting Scythe each time. Sam's face was impassive and he simply sidestepped out of line, saying nothing else.
