Because the tribe's didn't create this place... Those who came millions of years before them did..." A female voice called out, there was no one in the room, through there must be someone here. Someone watching them, knowing exactly what they were doing, but not why they were here.
"These ruins are what's left of the perfect world... The Cyber Utopia... Arc..." A cloaked figure appeared behind them, through unlike the tridional black cloaks. Hers was a very pale gray, and had golden markings all over it.

Gyre and Jet spun, fists clenched, fire and wind flaring up around them defensively.
"What the heck...? Who are you?!" Gyre shouted dangerously, a growl thundering in his throat.
Jet was quiet, but wary, one hand searching along the wall until it found a book on one of the shelves. Just something to throw if the need came.

"Me...? I'm the last survivour of this place, I'm no threat to you..." She lifted her hood, she was another fox, oh great. But she wasn't multi-tailed, and she was definately not an arctic. Just your regular redfox.
"This place keeps records of major events in history... Everytime one happens, it's recorded here... and... when you came here, I wanted to talk with you two..."

The fellhounds' ears were pressed back and they pressed their backs to the wall, reluctant to let down their guard.
Gyre spoke first. "Talk to us?" he repeated numbly. "All right...we're here then. What are you so eager to talk to us about? Please hurry, our friend the hyperactive cheetah might be back soon, and she'll kick your butt first and ask questions later."
Jet smirked. Well it was probably true.

"She can't come in here... She can't see the entrance..." The fox smiled, through it quickly disappeared and she looked over to a painting on the wall. It showed some sort of city, much like Westopolis, but much more High-tech and beautiful.
"I have a question for you first... Do you understand why the tribes exsist? Why the Seeker Tribe exsists?"

"Exist?" Gyre repeated in with a cynical grin. Jet clearly didn't look comforted by the fact that Aura couldn't come to them, but Gyre kept speaking. "You mean why it used to exist, right?" He planted his feet. "I don't know, to give birth to fellhounds? Ha! But then fellhounds are a disease, that's not right. I don't know, to give the desert people a tribe to unite under and a place to live? Why does anyone exist? We don't need a reason."

"It still exsists... You met a Husky before... He has Seeker Tribe blood, yet he's not like you... He's a remnant..." She said slowly, turning her gaze back to them before contiuing.
"They exsist because they are what's left of one of the first civilizations, just what remains. Scattered throughout the world after the Utopia destroyed itself... The Seeker Tribe exsists to create fellhounds and Galehounds, because they had arelady exsisted in the old world... But, they weren't just fire and wind users... They used technology..."

Jet and Gyre looked at eachother. That husky that followed the white cat around? they thought at the same time, and they saw that thought echoed in each other's eyes.
Gyre swallowed. "You're not making very much sense... Out with it!" Then it occurred to him that that wasn't helping. "Please," he added a touch more kindly.
Old world, Utopia... Jet thought privately. Sounded an awful lot like Sky Corps trash.

"What I'm saying is... You are perfect Fellhounds, created by the accident that goes by the name of SkyCorp... They thought they could turn his world into a perfect one, when they could only ruin it... The world we live in is the ruins of a once peaceful and perfect world..."
She pointed over to another painting on another wall, it showed the same city, through in flames, burining, a black sky and mostly in ruins. "It's protectors were the imperfect version of the fellhounds, using limitless powers with computers and data... They became uncontrollable, and started fighting againest each other. They lost the ability to speak or think, they didn't care for each other. They didn't care for battle, had no bloodlust. Each one wanted to kill every living creature on earth, even plants... When they had all killed each other, the people spread out... Far away in different groups, not wanting to relive the same horrible event... Eventually, the stories and myths faded forever... and no one remembered what happened... Through, then the Seeker Tribe evolved into fellhounds... and history repeated itself... But, you are perfect. Your power has limits... It's possible to control your emotions, energy and abilities... Then GUN came, and started to kill you off... If you would've kept growing, your race would create the perfect land that Sky Corp wanted... Through, history has repeated itself twice,.... and well do so again, as there are three perfects left... and one Imperfect version, stilll so young... Yet he bares the black star rune of the Meteor gun, and you've both seen it... On his cheek when he changed and attacked you... and on the hand of an arctic fox... If he stays alive, others may become like him... More imperfect Fellhounds, that will spread and not evolve like the Seeker Tribe did... and their flames we'll consume the planet until nothing remains... But Savage monsters who pray on each other."

Jet and Gyre listened in a trance, but it broke the instant the fox stopped speaking. They looked at each other... and let out uneasy laughs.
"Did you understand a word of that?"
"Not one bit. You?"
"Nope..."
"Look, lady," Gyre said slowly, facing her and presenting his hands to her. "It's a cute story. But civilizations before civilization? Seriously, the mobians aren't stupid, they would have figured that out. And if you're talking about the husky, he's fine, so back off. I mean seriously...you're calling me and this guy "perfect." I'm only half-blood, first of all, and I'm an assassin. And we're both the great-great grandchildren of murderers! Bane's the child of murderers, so less room to travel there."

"You don't get it do you? The ruins your standing in right now, is part of the ancient city. On the map in the main hall, this spot is the city of Glass. This room, is atop the tallest building... Buried in the ground, there's no evidence to prove it was ever here... Your blood doesn't matter, and the husky? Right about now I'd say he's about to have another inccident like he did with you, maybe kill a few people or pass on the infection... Fellhounds aren't murderers, because the Seeker and Hurricane Tribe deserved to die... They did'nt want to evolve, they didn't want to embrace their past... Aura evolved afterall... If she survived, then she evolved... But she isn't like you..." And with that the fox disappeared, leaving the two to think it over or just forget about it.

"What?!" Jet repeated in almost an outrage. But the fox was gone.
"Did you hear that!? The nerve of that idiot! I hate foxes, hate them, hate them, hate them!" Jet ranted, stamping his foot--actually stamping his foot. "Fellhounds not murderers because the Seekers and others deserved to die... They weren't the only two peoples wiped out! Don't tell me fellhounds aren't murderers!"
"Jet, calm down!"
"You're one of them too, just shut up!"
Gyre froze, ears back, looking affronted. He took a step away from Jet, a black sinking feeling in his chest. But it was true, wasn't it? Gyre was no better than his ancestors. He was a murderer, and he killed for money.
Jet clenched his fist, a low growl in his throat... He wasn't going to let the fellhound legacy go on if this was what it all amounted to. Murder and destruction. Maybe GUN was right to start wiping them all out...

The room shook and one of the large paintings dropped to the floor, the frame smashing into pieces and tearing through the art. The marble floor cracked in many spots, the walls bent and some of the marble bricks slid out, shattering as they struck the ground. Then the small tremor stopped and they were standing in the damaged room, behind them the words written on the stone were now clear and glowing with a faint blue light.
"Our city and the surrounding lands, the perfect world. A utopia. It's laws enforced by the dogs of fire, the Fellhounds, one of our creations. They were perfect, the strongest things in the world.
They never killed, never harmed anyone who was innocent. They were an evolution. We caused them to evolve beyond us, beyond exsistance.
Then, it happened. The powerful abilites that we gave them, the dark star rune placed on the Fellhounds.
They went wild, and destroyed the inner section of the city. Then, suddenly stopped after we managed to corner them... It seemed safe, until ten years later, they went wild again, lost their minds... Their souls, they were just empty bodies... Obeying some more powerful source, they burned most of our city.
And the walls of the crater we built it in caved in on us, burrying in with soil and sea... Trapping in underground, we scattered, all races... To snow covered mountains, to grasslands, to the islands on the ocean... To the desert, deepest caves, forests and even the sky... We became remnants, and then soon partials of what we once were...
We couldn't make a perfect race with science... So, we'll let nature and destiny create the perfect version... As we fade away forever..."

Gyre had spun to read it, fists clenched, ears back and an uneasy shiver in his chest. Then his eyes flashed to Jet. The flaming fellhound hadn't moved, hadn't even opened his eyes...
"Jet?" Gyre asked uneasily
Jet's eyes snapped open, the fellhound drew in an unsteady breath. He glanced at the wall, but didn't seem to read it. Still, he must have understood somehow...because Jet just nodded to himself and spun away. "Twisted world. I'm surprized it's always been this way, though I suppose I shouldn't be. Come on, we need to find Aura."
Gyre swallowed hard. Something was up with Jet, and he didn't like it. But he followed his cousin non-the-less. In a way, gyre fell as though...well as though he was dealing with a client who he knew had his own agenda besides just assasination.
((Sorry for the short post--stupid computer...))

Aura was back outside, digging with a shovel, through most of these buildings were stone, they were actually ontop of something much larger. She had dug up each and every building, which just seemed to be etheir full of old bookshelves and old maps, or just random scraps of metal.
Each building was on top of a larger metal section, which looked alot like the roof of a Sky Scraper. There was old ventilation meachines, trees and sqaure bushes like you'd see ontop of alot of tall buildings... She tossed the shovel down, having dug up most of this apparent roof. It seemed like there was a building burried in the ground.
