Manta swam through the channel, the freshwater was cool against his rubbery flesh, the body spanning, upside down heart shaped growth on his head causing little drag in the water. He just wanted to get away from it all, the hectic life at base, his hard earned enemies that make home in the jungle, and his falling for Tenka. The only one with him was atom, his hero Chao, flying above the water, his ride was relieving and helped him forget, but he soon stopped, sensing another nearby, who could it be...?

A small white-furred shape sat on the rocky bank. His blue eyes were wide, mouth hanging just slightly open, staring in wonder at the little duo. Somewhat perplexed at having them stop and stare back at him.
He closed his mouth, frowning slightly in silent debate.
Just ignore them, Isaac. Probably freaks. Or that guy in the water is a professional swimmer... Why else would anyone be swimming in the same path that massive ships do?
Finally he raised his hand and waved a shy hello.
Isaac wasn't keen on making friends today, honestly... Friends asked too many questions. Where do you live? Where'd you get that money? How'd you buy that food?

Meanwhile, back in the water, Manta had fun making the turbins on the ships "mysteriously" pop-up on there decks. But Atom made Manta stop,he made it clear that it was important, manta finished of one more boat to finish the congestion, then halted, he looked off to the cliffside and saw a figure
maybe i can meet someone new
he charged straight at the stone, "oops-- ouch..." manta had smashed straight into the wall

The leopard was crouched above him on hands and knees, watching Manta with surprise then amusement. "Need help?" he purred. He flopped down on his stomach, reaching one hand down to him.
"Whoa, a chao! Cool! Can I see him?"

"ya sure" Manta said "that was really bad wasnt it..." suddenly manta got a dreamy look in his eye, he saw himself, the leopard, and a third person, and something bad was either hapening or had happened, the vision then stoped "sure you can check atom out, but i have a feeling something bad's gonna happen" (chose what the bad thing is)
