Karen walked into he lobby of the chao garden, the tiny form of the lime green dark chao Spiky was bundled in her arms. Her bag was considerably lighter now. She looked down at Spiky. "Now, shall we get you some things to play with, Spiky?" She asked the chao kindly.

"Okay!" Karen said cheerfully. She set the chao down. "Go find something you want and bring it back to me, okay?" She said, tilting her head as if to discreetly ask if the chao understood.

Spiky gave her a thumbs up, before setting off to find something.
He soon came back with a large rubber ball in his paws.

Karen nodded and smiled. "Okay!" She then kneeled down in front of Spiky. "Is anyone watching?" She asked solemnly.

Spiky looked around, not seeing anyone. He turned back to Karen and grinned evilly, shaking his head 'no'.

Karen returned the chao's vile sneer. She took out a small disc, tapping a button on the center. Lights around the edge started to glow blue. She made a small flick with the disc, and the lights shot out and snagged the ball. The ball was soon enveloped in the light and was sucked into the disc. THe lights on the edge now periodically blinked red.
After the display, she looked back at Spiky. "Is there anything else you want?" She asked.
