Snow began to fall from the dark skies. It was only six o'clock, but everyone knows how fast it becomes dark in the winter. Flakes began to decorate everything in site, but some flakes made a mistake on their landings. After all, this one wolf hated snow! A LOT. Holding his coat tightly was Typhus. His blade slung across his back as usual, the golden wolf narrowed his red eyes while his feet took him down the sidewalks.
Eventually his journey took his from out of the city and town and into the neighborhood. At one point, Typhus stopped and glanced into the window with solemn eyes. What I would give for any of that. He thought glancing into the window of a family living happily. Eventually, in rage as he walked away, he launched a dark chaos bolt into the sky and watched as it exploded odd inverse colors, before walking back into town...

Being hung over was no fun. A blonde hedgecat in a brown wool coat and jeans made her way down the snow-covered sidewalk. Her arms were wrapped around herself to keep the coat from opening in the front, since she'd broken the big wooden button on the top when she snagged it on the door. Her crystal blue eyes were reddened slightly, as was her nose and her cheeks were rosey from the cold in contrast with her pale face.
She'd felt like crap all day, like she was in slow motion with a white-hot nail jammed in her temple. But that was the price for how wild she had gotten at the party she'd gone to the previous night. Now, she was taking a present to her friend who lived in this neighborhood, and had run out of money to pay the taxi so she desided just to hoof-it the rest of the way. She'd worry about getting home later. Maybe she'd call someone.
She stepped out onto the pavement, not caring to notice the ice, her foot immediantly slipped out from under her and she yelped. The next thing Jenny knew, she was staring up at the darkening, cloudy sky with her head in twice as much pain as it had been moments before.
"Ahh.." She moaned as she sat up, her eyes shut tight, brow twitching slightly and her hand on the back of her head where it'd hit the sidewalk, "Son of a b*tch...!"

Typhus, at the sound of the yelled curse, halted his footsteps, and perked his ears. He knew that voice. Maybe he should keep walking? No, he couldn't. For some reason he was pulled back. Grumbling curses under his breath, he made his way over to Jenny and lent out a hand. Well, actually he pulled her to her feet whether she wanted to or not.
The golden wolf quirked a brow. " You alright?"

Jenny allowed him to pull her up, not really noticing or caring who he was and staggered a bit. She was so aggrivated she could scream, and she kept holding her head, opening her eyes to pale blue slits, "Thanks..." She said shallowly, her mind still focused on her pain.
She looked up at him for the first time. You'd think that there'd be instant regonization that was visible in her "shocked" body language. There was none. She just tilted her head downward farther and closed her eyes.
"Typhus." She finished her sentence with a name, and exhaled softly with a small touch of her voice, signifying pain, but that was it. And she didn't cry. Instead she forced her hand down from her sore-spot and into her coat pocket, looking at Typhus with narrowed eyes and a slightly tilted head, "I haven't seen you in a while." She said distantly, "How've you been?"

Typhus' crimson eyes looked Jenny up and down. The wolf crossed his arms and gave a slight grin, baring his fangs slightly. " Yeah, it has been awhile hasn't it? I've been alright, I guess. I dunno. You though, you alright? You seem well, stressed, other than the fact you hit your head right there." He said in a playful yet mocking tone.
His foot tapped impatiently for an answer. After all the wolf missed her in a way. He wasn't sure how he did, or even why seeing as she was well...let's not go there.
