A shadow quite suddenly spread over the sunny field where a few cows were grazing. Like a storm coming. But it wasnt' a cloud, not by a long shot. Looking up, one would only find themselves blinded by a what looked to be a blue gemstone flashing in the firey sunlight.
Except that thing was decending rappidly.
In a flash of blue scales and a rush of wind, one of the cows let out a panicked bellow as it was picked up in massive talons and led into the air. A dragon was carrying it in its claws.
A few moments later the cow's bell dropped to the ground, followed by a shower of bones. The dragon landed at last in another field, his piercing blue eyes glaring at the horizon and the city on its edge. The dragon was headed there, bit by bit.

A creamy white hedgehog wandered the fields, a bouquet of flowers in one hand. Terios grinned at the bouquet. He had picked a whole bunch of rare and beautiful flowers for Elise, since he didn't get a chance to thank her properly. In his other hand was a long knife, incase he ran into some kind of trouble. Terios squinted as a gust of wind picked up, his ears flat against his head. The hedgehog opened one eye, noticing a large shadow in the distance. Terios' ears pricked up curiously. What was that?
((I'm so happy that Terios has a new family! YAY! XD;; ))

The dragon spun around, the wind carrying Terios' scent. The dragon's upper lip curled, baring his teeth. Unexplained hatred blazed in his icy blue eyes as he rounded towards the hedgehog in the distance. Quite suddenly he took to the air, skimming low to the ground just high enough to fly over the field's fence.
He landed in a cloud of dust on the dirt road in front of Terios. Rearing back his head the dragon let out a roar and a blast of fire. Why was it being so aggressive? Anyone's guess really, but Terios should probably start running...

Terios looked up at the dragon, tilting his head back just so head could see all of it. The dragon's shadow covered Terios' whole body and part of the road. The hedgehog lifted his knife in determination. Terios suddenly threw it at the dragon's stomach and ran for his life in the opposite direction, the flowers clutched in his other hand.

The knife glanced off the dragons larger belly scales, though it bruised quite painfully and cracked a bit of the scale. The dragon let out a roar, more out of fury than because he was really hurt at all.
Not a smart idea to run in a straight line away from a flying enemy. The dragon started following Terios with powerful beats of his wings, starting to gain ground. He inhaled deeply and let out a slow, steady beam of fire that followed Terios like the beam of a magnifying glass after an ant.

Terios ran as fast as he could away from the flames. He couldn't bare to look back. He didn't want to! The hedgehog then jumped over to the side and rolled away from the flames, then got up, and ran in the other direction.

Now that was a nice move.
The dragon actually had to waste time landing and spinning around on the ground before taking off again after Terios. The blue eyes sparked with a tinge of acknowledgement that this guy wasn't as stupid as his last encounter. But the game wasn't over yet. The dragon always won. He would win this one too.
He reached out with one hand, his wings beating hard as he hoped to overtake Terios and grab him in his talons. His eyes were alight with the excitement of the chase.

Terios panted, tired from running so much. He turned his head to the dragon and his green eyes narrowed in determination. Terios spindashed into the dragon's throat, hoping to knock the wind right out of him.

The dragon was flung backwards with a choked-off cry. He smashed to the ground, choking as he struggled to regain his feet, his head reared back and shook irritably as the air started to return hesitantly to his lungs. And something like a laugh broke from his maw, or more like several huffs of breath. The only way one would know he was laughing was by amuzement in those eyes.
Now changing tacticts for a ground fight, the dragon whipped his tail around at Terios, hoping to knock his feet out from under him.

Terios growled as he got knocked down, only to get back up. He yelled out a battle cry as he spindashed again at the dragon, this time aiming for his head.

At the same moment the dragon snapped up his head, reacting perfectly. Fire sprouted from his maw, right at the little ball of white that was headed more or less straight for the dragon's mouth.
((Short post, sorry Terios for the um...godmod?))

((lol it's ok ^^))
The little ball of white suddenly turned a burnt ashy gray, and Terios fell to the ground, eyes shut and teeth bared in pain. Terios got up, staggered for a bit then glared up at the dragon, not even noticing that the flowers were gone. I'm not gonna run away... I'm not gonna run away... I'm not gonna run away... The words played over and over in his head, like some nightmarish song by Marylin Manson.
The badly burnt hedgehog went at the dragon again, spindashing at his stomach, then upwards to his chin.

The dragon was hit in both places, staggering backwards.
Well he wasn't gonna waste any more time on this!
A roar of frustration broke out of his maw and the wind seemed to pick up, echoing his rage. The wind wasn't too strong, though. Not near strong enough to cause what happened next.
The fence surrounding the field to the dragon's left pulled itself out of the ground, sparks flashing as the electric fencing was sent haywire. The mesh of electric fence and wood flew wildly at Terios like a wall. The dragon leaped up and took to the air, safe from his own attack.

Terios didn't know what hit him. The electric fence sent electricity through the hedgehog's body, and Terios fell to the ground. Smoke rose from his body, and he coughed weakly.

((Oh, I thought you said someone else was gonna join the thread, but maybe I read your cbox posts wrong.))
The dragon's footsteps made the ground shudder as it neared Terios' fallen form. Then the dragon's head lowered and he nudged the hedgehog with his muzzle, his blue eyes narrowed. He made low hissing noises, but it was like he was trying to form them into words. "Hthhssscram... Htthssss....leeeeve. Geeetoout."
